Grindhouse has two thrillers packed in one. "Planet Terror" is a good old story of zombie outbreak. Apparently, there has been a poisonous gas leak which is leading people to get infected and turn into zombies. They further attack other people are infect them. Lt. Muldoon (Bruce Willis) and scientist Abby (Naveen Andrews) are on a mission to contain the spread. Cherry Darling (Rose McGowan), a bar dancer runs across an old friend Wray (Freddy Rodríguez) after being attacked by a zombie who cuts her leg to save her. While escaping, they are captured by Muldoon who imprisons them. However, with the help of Abby they are successful in escaping as well as destroying the base."Death Proof" Shanna (Jordan Ladd), Arlene (Vanessa Ferlito), Jungle Julia (Sydney Poitier) and Pam (Rose McGowan) meet some other friends at a bar. There they are introduced at Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell). Mike gives Pam lift on the way back. Mike speeds the car and slams brakes which kills Pam. Few months later, he comes across Abernathy (Rosario Dawson), Kim (Tracie Thoms), and Zoe Bell (Zoe Bell) who are doing stunts on their car on highway. Mike collides with their car in attempt to kill them, but fails after a long chase. Then the girls run after Mike give him taste of his own medicine. Don't be surprised if you see trailers of other movies in between and messages of missing reels!!
